In the event that you are unable to connect a wireless printer or wireless security camera to the AmpliFi router's Wi-Fi please perform these steps:
Wireless Security Cameras
Some security cameras may only be able to connect to a 2.4GHz frequency network. Please follow the steps in this article if that is the case: How to Add an Additional SSID.
On some wireless cameras there is a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) feature as well. Follow the steps in this article to enable.
1. Begin by clearing the network history of the printer. This option can be found in most printer's main settings.
2. Restore printer to factory settings by resetting to default factory settings. These actions should erase the networking history of the printer, allowing it to gain access to the AmpliFi wireless network. If the issue persists, proceed to enable WPS as described in this article.
