This article assists in troubleshooting slow speeds on the AmpliFi Teleport. There are two factors that will influence and need to be checked: the local connection to which the Teleport is connected to and the home network speed. It is important to note that the max speed of the Teleport is 17 Mbps.
Local network speeds:
- The local connection may have a limited speed that is causing slow speeds on the Teleport.
- Verify by testing the local network. Connect to the same network the Teleport is connected to (with a laptop for example) and run a speed test.
Home network speeds:
- The Teleport can only provide speeds up to what is available on the home network. Note that this is the upload speed of your home network.
- Verify by testing the speeds on the home network. If the speeds are slow or you are unable to connect to the AmpliFi using remote access, there may be a network outage.
